I don't do dairy. I do LOVE fudge. Made this one with soy milk and no butter and added dried Tart Sour Cherries just after the rapid boiling bit. YUMMO for when you're trying to be good but it's Saturday night and you're stuck by yourself, no junk food available and a ton of movies to watch!

SIFT SUGAR AND COCOA INTO A BOWL2 POUR THE MILK IN A SAUCEPAN3 STIR IN THE DRY INGREDIENTS 4 STIR TILL SUGAR DISSOLVES5 ALLOW TO COME TO BOIL (ABOUT 4-10 MINUTES)6 WHEN AT BOILING POINT (100 DEGREES) ALLOW TO BOIL FOR STRAIT 4 MINUTES 7 LEAVE TO COOL AND WITH A WOODEN SPOON BEAT AS FAST AS YOU CAN GO UNTIL THE FUDGE LOOSES ITS GLOSS AND POUR INTO A BOWL IMMEDIATELY.YOU CAN BREAK THE FUDGE INTO AS MANY PARTS AS YOU LIKEBUT BEWARE!!!! DON'T PUT TOO MUCH LIQUID IN AS THIS MAY CAUSE IT TO NOT SET,
