Not much of a cook myself, to be quite honest spare the thought actually As my wife Filipino is an amazing whizz in the kitchen but she's not feeling too well lately so have stepped up to the plate I winged it a little with the porridge as I had to make for 3 and our little toddler But smashed it out the ball park on my first attempt I stirred in and added little more brown sugar however to taste whilst simmering as well as a little more water as well as milk to keep ingredients to a fairly moist but not too runny consistency then served , with maple or golden syrup and a little more milk just to fill in around the edges of the bowl I and my family were amazed I did however burn the toast that I had planned to go with it But yeah if not for this guide as a reference I would had most likely burnt the oats too Thanks Chelsea
