Terms and Conditions
Promotion
Entry into and participation in the Edmonds and Chelsea Sweet Baking Getaway (Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which includes any information on how to enter and prizes.
Who can enter?
Entry is open to residents of New Zealand, subject to these Terms and Conditions (Eligible Entrant). You are not eligible to enter if you are an employee of the Promoter or its related corporations or agencies, or a member of an employee’s immediate family.
Under 18?
If you are under 18 years old at the time of entering, you must obtain the prior permission and consent of your legal parent or guardian. Any Prize will be awarded to the successful entrant’s nominated parent or guardian.
Multiple Entries
You may enter the Promotion multiple times, provided you follow the ‘How to enter?’ rules for each separate entry. You are not permitted to use any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows you to automatically enter or enter repeatedly. Any such entries will render all entries submitted by that person invalid. You are responsible for any associated costs of entry, including internet access and phone calls.
Promotion Period
The Promotion commences at 12.01am NZST on 24/06/2024 and will close at 11.59pm NZST on 21/07/2024.
How to enter?
To enter the Promotion and be eligible to win, you must, during the Promotion Period:
- Buy any Edmonds or Chelsea product (from any retailer);
- Bake any recipe using the Edmonds and/or Chelsea product/s purchased; and
- Upload a picture of your baking (with product featured) to the pinned post on either of the Edmonds or Chelsea’s Facebook profiles which can be viewed here: https://www.facebook.com/EdmondsCooking/ or https://www.facebook.com/Chelseasugarnz
Prize(s)
The prize is: return economy class flights for 2 adults and 2 children (under 16 years) from the winner’s nearest commercial New Zealand airport to Auckland, airline and airport taxes, return private transfer from airport to accommodation, 2 nights 4* Auckland City Hotel accommodation quad share, daily breakfast, return private transfer from accommodation to Chelsea Bay, Edmonds Baking School Experience including factory tour and family lunch to the value of $100, at Chelsea Bay, $500 NZD Spending money. The total prize is valued at $5,980. Other incidental expenses such as travel to and from the winner’s home to their nearest commercial airport, travel insurance, additional food and drinks, service fees, and other activities not organised by the Promoter as part of the experience will be at the cost of the winner unless otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions. Prize(s) are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
The travel dates for the Prize will be determined by the Promoter in consultation with the winner (acting reasonably). Travel dates determined may be subject to change. In the event the winner is no longer able to travel within a reasonable period after being awarded the Prize, the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and awarded to a reserve entry drawn as an alternate winner.
Prize draw
The Promotion is a game of chance. The Prize draw will be held at midday NZST, Monday 22nd July 2024 at the Promoter’s Head Office. The winner(s) will be the first valid entry randomly drawn from all eligible entries. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries to be deemed as alternate winners in the event of a Prize forfeiture.
Notification to winner(s)
The winner will be announced via the Edmonds and Chelsea Facebook pages and notified via a private Facebook message on Monday 22nd July 2024.
Accepting the prize
Following the notification to the winner, the winner will need to respond to the Facebook message supplying their contact details. This will enable the Promoter to supply the prize and will be deemed to be acceptance of the Prize. If a winner does not accept the Prize within three weeks of being notified, the Prize will be forfeited. The Promoter reserves the right to award any forfeited prize to another eligible entrant from reserve entries drawn. If a winner of a Prize is under the age of 18 years, the Prize will be awarded to their parent or guardian.
Your entry
You promise and warrant that all the details submitted with your entry are true and correct and:
- You have all of the necessary rights, consents and licences to grant the rights to the Promoter as set out in these Terms and Conditions;
- Your entry is original, solely your own and has not been communicated to the public before;
- Your entry does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party; and
- The exercise of any rights granted by you to the Promoter is at the complete discretion of the Promoter, including any communication of your entry to the public.
Receipt of entries
Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this promotion will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete or incorrectly submitted entries. Entries are deemed to be submitted at the time of receipt by the Promoter or its agents.
Licence
By submitting your entry, you grant the Promoter and its licensees and assignees a perpetual, world-wide, royalty free, licence to exercise all rights (including intellectual property and privacy rights) to your entry and any other material provided by you to the Promoter in relation to the Promotion at any time. You consent to your entry being edited or adapted or modified at any time and in any manner by the Promoter or its agents, licensees and assignees.
Facebook terms
As set out in the ‘How to enter’ section, you must upload a picture of your baking to the Edmonds or Chelsea Facebook pages in order to enter this Promotion. Your entry into this Promotion is subject to you acting in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at www.facebook.com/terms.php. Please note that you do not have to tag your friends or share any content on your page or a friend’s page as part of any entry. You acknowledge and agree that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and agree to release Facebook from any liability in connection with the Promotion.
Promoter’s rights:
The Promoter reserves the right to: provide an alternative prize of equal monetary value in the event that a prize or any part of a prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's control; disallow entries in its absolute discretion; verify the validity of entries and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant's identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where dishonest or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion; to terminate this Promotion or amend any aspect of this Promotion (including the prize) without notice at any time in its sole discretion in the event that this Promotion or any aspect of this Promotion cannot be reasonably conducted as planned; and enforce any of its rights at any stage and failure to do so does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Exclusion
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is or may be suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is or may be suffered or sustained, in connection with participation in the promotion or accepting any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Indemnity
As a condition of participating in a promotion, the winner indemnifies the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with that promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees on a solicitor and client basis) which the Promoter may incur arising out of the winner’s participation in the Promotion and/or participation in a prize, howsoever caused.
Publicity
By entering the draw or accepting a prize you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image or voice in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purposes of the Promotion and promoting any products manufactured, supplied or distributed by the Promoter.
Privacy
The information collected about entrants in the course of the Promotion has been requested to enable the Promoter to conduct the Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including publicity), and for promotional purposes. All personal information collected will be in accordance with the Goodman Fielder Privacy Policy which can be found here: http://goodmanfielder.com/privacy-policy/.

The promoter is Goodman Fielder New Zealand Limited of 2/8 Nelson Street, Auckland 1010. All decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
