My favourite brownie recipe. Kids love it so much there's nothing left at the end of the day
Preheat oven to 180°C bake or 160°C fan forced. Grease and line an 18cm x 28cm pan with baking paper.
Combine Tararua Butter, chocolate and Chelsea Golden Syrup in a medium saucepan and stir over a low heat until melted. Cool for 10 minutes.
Beat eggs and Chelsea Caster Sugar in a bowl until light and doubled in volume. Sift Edmonds Standard Grade Flour, cocoa and salt together. Add Edmonds Standard Grade Flour and chocolate mixture to eggs and mix until well combined.
Pour into prepared pan. Drop extra chocolate onto the top of the brownie. Bake brownie for 30 minutes or until the top is firm when touched. Cool in pan and cut into squares.
