Too much flour!! Is 4 cups a misprint?Biscuits were of course too crumbly - I have made biscuits for years and never had a problem. First time using this recipe so didn't want to amend it.

I've got to 2 cups of flour and it's really dry. All other ingredients were spot on. Ended up putting in beaten egg to hold mixture and stuck to 2 cups of flour.

Try mixing in a egg to this recipe, should hold biscuits together

Your flour amount is way out.. I hadn't read the reviews and had to do a rescue mission by making up another batch of wet to add in (it came out perfect) so needs to be corrected as others have said.. also easier to go by 225g of butter Instead of measuring a cup.

Made the sultana biscuits today with the grandkids. I mean what else is there to do on a rainy school holiday day?The ratio of flour to the other ingredients is well out. I added more warm milk, golden syrup, and baking soda. We ended up with Sultana buns. Edible.
Dissolve the baking soda in the milk. Place sugar, butter, golden syrup, baking soda (dissolved in milk) on the stove in a medium saucepan. Heat slowly to melt butter, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat. Add flour and sultanas.
Roll into small balls and press with a fork, dipped in flour to help stop mixture sticking.
Recipe made 20 biscuits and 12 mins to cook. Opposite of what the Recipe said.
