Perhaps Meyer lemons which I grow do not have as much flavour as other varieties but this recipe is simple and very easy giving good results - I gave it slightly longer in the oven however - 8 mins. I will use it again ., approved=true, user_name=Jean Pollard, hs_createdate=1702249869185, rating_new__1_5_=4, id=11175436164}, {comment_text=Loved how easy this recipe was!!! Whipped this up as a birthday cake for a friend who really doesn't like cake. Left the topping off and instead poured a mixed berry compote over the top, the lemon set off the berries perfectly. Used the full amount of baking powder and had no problems whatsoever. I will definitely be making this one again., approved=true, user_name=Brenda, hs_createdate=1702249868472, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175506018}, {comment_text=Wow, what a hit and so easy to prepare.I'll definitely be making this again., approved=true, user_name=Anne, hs_createdate=1702249868426, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175589681}, {comment_text=This is now my fave lemon cake recipe!! I was wondering if this recipe would be a bit drier than my usual favorite lemon cake recipe so was reluctant to try it. But because it's such an easy recipe i thought I'd give it a go as I love the idea of chucking it all in a bowl and mixing rather than flaffing around with creaming butter & sugar etc. I'm pleased to say this is a fantastic moist and extremely quick, easy cake. I used 2 tablespoons of sour cream & 2 of milk rather than the 4 tablespoons of milk stated in recipe. Delicious!, approved=true, user_name=Megan, hs_createdate=1702249867977, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175430952}, {comment_text=tastes so yummy really really quick yummmmm, approved=true, user_name=LALINI, hs_createdate=1702249867896, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175634719}]}
