Method

For base: Cream butter and Chelsea White Sugar. Add sifted dry ingredients.
Knead well and press into a shallow tin. Bake 20-25 mins at 190°C.
For icing: Put into a saucepan: butter, Chelsea Icing Sugar, Chelsea Golden Syrup and ginger. Heat until melted then pour over cake while hot, and cut into squares before it gets cold.
