You can't beat a hot pudding on a chilly winter's night and this recipe makes it easy to indulge a little more often. Recipe club member Leanne said that it is so easy that kids could throw it together!

  • ¾ cup Chelsea White Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup Edmonds Standard Grade Flour, sifted
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ cup Meadow Fresh Original Milk
  • 1 tsp Edmonds Baking Powder

Sauce

  • 1 cup Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cups boiled water
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method

Pudding
Cream together 3/4 cup Chelsea White Sugar and 1 tbsp Tararua Butter in a mixing bowl. Add sifted Edmonds Standard Grade Flour and cocoa, followed by the Meadow Fresh Original Milk and Edmonds Baking Powder - mix until "globby".
Pour into a deep microwave proof bowl.
Sauce
Mix Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar with the cocoa and scatter over top of globby pudding mix. Pour over the back of a spoon the boiled water and vanilla essence.
Microwave on high for 10 minutes.
