Worked quite well in a casserole bowl; 15 mins @ 180 degrees. Might have baked better in a wider, shallower dish so that the crumble is thinner; thus not stodgy underneath. That might also let a bit more water boil off the feijoas which are wetter than apples and pears that are usually crumbled., approved=true, user_name=Bill Horton, hs_createdate=1702249872782, rating_new__1_5_=4, id=11175696669}, {comment_text=I substituted the apples for a big can of peaches and it was absolutely delicious., approved=true, hs_createdate=1702249872398, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175490118}, {comment_text=Super easy and delicious!, approved=true, user_name=Nicole, hs_createdate=1702249871733, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175582009}, {comment_text=Easy and delicious...did I mention DELICIOUS?!?!Just the kind of recipe I was hoping to find for beautiful old style apple crumble., approved=true, user_name=Julie Clark 1, hs_createdate=1702249871307, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175431004}, {comment_text=Super easy recipe to follow and so delicious. Method

Preheat oven to 180°C bake.
Place fruit in a well-greased oven-safe dish (approximately 23-25cm diameter for a round dish). Sprinkle with Chelsea Caster Sugar and mixed spice, and pour water over the top.
Place all of the topping ingredients in a food processor and process until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Alternatively, mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl and rub butter in with your fingertips.
Sprinkle crumble topping over the fruit. Bake for 45 - 50 minutes, until topping is golden and fruit is tender.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice-cream.
Variations: Try mixing apples with other fruit such as pears. Add raisins or sultanas for some extra flavour.
