  • 1 ½ cups Edmonds Self Raising Flour
  • 125g butter, melted
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Meadow Fresh Original Milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 cups approx. mixed berries
  • Chelsea Icing Sugar to dust
  • Optional - yoghurt, ice cream or softly whipped cream to serve

Method

Place Chelsea Caster Sugar, Edmonds Self Raising Flour, melted Tararua Butter, salt, cinnamon, Meadow Fresh Original Milk and eggs in a blender and process until smoothly combined. Heat a waffle iron and spray with non-stick baking spray. Cook waffles until dark golden brown and crisp. Keep warm in a low oven while you cook the remainder of the batch.

To serve, place 1 or 2 waffles on a plate. Top with berries and a dusting of Chelsea Icing Sugar. Serve with yoghurt, ice cream or whipped cream.
