Method

In a bowl, blend the cornflour with a little of the milk to make a smooth paste.
In a saucepan, heat the remaining milk with the Chelsea Golden Syrup, Chelsea Dark Cane Sugar and butter until well blended.
Stir into the cornflour paste and return to the pan. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
Pour into individual dishes and sprinkle with cherries and nuts.
