Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chelsea Chocolate Icing
  • 200g Butter (Softened)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 100g Walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup Flour sifted
  • 2 drops Vanilla Essence
  • 200g dark chocolate, melted

Icing

  • 1 ½ cups Chelsea Icing Sugar (225g)
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder 
  • 50g butter, softened
  • 2-3 Tbsp hot water

Method

Beat Chelsea Chocolate Icing and butter together until soft and creamy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add chocolate.
Fold in walnuts, flour and vanilla essence.

Spread into greased paper lined (28cm x 18cm) shallow cake pan. Bake at 160°C for 20-25 minutes, or until skewer comes out clean. Cool slightly, turn onto wire rack. Ice with Chelsea Chocolate Icing.

Place Chelsea Icing Sugar and cocoa powder in a medium bowl and stir to combine. Add softened butter and pour some of the hot water over the top. Mix together with a knife or spatula, adding more water as required to achieve a smooth, spreadable consistency. Spread onto brownie.
